Liability Insurance for crusing in Mexico
It is a requirement, though like most things in Mexico it''s realtive.
I was in Mexico for a year total in 96-97 and was never asked for proof of insurance (or the $200 fishing license). But it is a legal requirement, so I would do it. I used a company called Chubasco, but I think I''d go with BoatUS this time. If I remember, it wasn''t very expensive - less than $100 then, probably more now.
