ICW conditions/post Isabel

We are getting ready to head south from MD to the west coast of FLwe plan on leaving Herring bay the 14th.This will be our frist time and Im getting a little nervous we draw5/6 so shoaling is a concern any information would be helpful.Thanks in advance
