Windward Island Routes

Does anyone know whether a passage to windward of St. Vincent is feasible. We will be leaving Buccament Bay on the south end of SV and will be headed for Vieux Fort on the south end of SL. We will leave early enough in the day to make it by early afternoon, so finding a duck in port won''t be an issue. I realize the ocean swells may be greater, but is that any different, aside from the length of time endured, than the swells between the north end of SV and SL. The distance saved looks substantial.

Are you the same halcyon from Oak Harbor? If so I would like to know about your trip and would like to do a similar trip.

''fraid not. My Halcyon (26'' O''Day) plies the waters of Lake Grapevine, Texas, when it is not being refit, as it is now.
