How would you say the beauty of being aboard?

Anchored in seven feet of water
Sea grass over shell/marl bottom
Out of warm sleeping bags
In Blackwater Sound

January cold early morning air
Wetsuit cold water on the ladder
This land is your land.

Mask and snorkel and crab net
Underwater with tiny white and purple jellyfish
Every few inches.
This land is my land

Twenty minutes has seven crabs in the pillowcase.
Then there is coffee and shivering in the cockpit
As crabs heat in the pot.

This morning we will sail, but not too far
( Crank the engine and be demoted )
Then the morning chess game
Beneath the shade tarp.
Then crabs and garlic buttered rice for lunch
And then a nap
This land is made for you and me.

Put it to music - the kids today would never understand!

Nature versus their right to jet skis.

The "you owe us mentality versus I earned It"!

Who ever bought their kid a boat - let alone a car? Could we take a survey? Make a poem, song,? Sorry to hijack - just asking!
