St Augustine (FL) liveaboard

Hi all,
finally sold the business and about to close on a boat. Have a question for you all: thinking of mooving this fall with the family to St Augustine ( we have a 12 year old boy and a 6 year old girl ) to liveaboard.
Does anybody have any experience in S.A. ? From what I heard it sounds like a great town to liveaboard? We are planning to homeschool the kids for a while

Thanks in advance

HI,
We live in St Augustine and have a sailboat. I am biased because I love this area. it's Maritime History, etc. FYI the St Johns County School system is rated the best in the state. We also have a burgeoning Cruisers VHF Net about to take off this SEP 2012.Folks are friendly. Hope you consider trying St Augustine out.

We LOVED St Aug when we were there last winter and hope to visit again next time we're through by boat. Wonderful, friendly town.
