Can anybody tell if if this interior layout has a name?

I was trawling through the classifieds and found a rather novel interior layout that I have not seen before and I wondered if it was an owner modification or a lesser known layout type and if so does it have a name.

"Messy" comes to mind. ?

I've never seen a layout like this. But I don't inspect many vintage boat interiors.

Judging by the chaulk joint, the unmatched wood grain on the access panel, the stainless steel rail that the stairs mount to and the new piece of trim underneath with chauk, it looks like it was modified. Could have been a traditional quarter berth at one time?

There's water stains on the planking behind the pillow, evidence of a leak? I won't speculate on the stains on the purple sheets.

If we knew more details about the boat, we might be able to answer.
Brand, type (sloop, ketch, etc) length?

It's amazing that people won't even do just a basic clean up/de-junking before taking pictures to show the world how nice their boat looks.

Looks like they can be purchased as kits to be owner fitted out.

By contrast here's an alternate interior. The site shows two quarter berths in the versions.

I see that it's a ferro-cement boat.

Now that's a nice looking boat and a good example of how pictures should be taken. Boat cleaned, everything shipshape, well maintained and no clutter.
