some interesting ideas but still ugly as sin. Looks like lots of room though.

From a big box viewpoint definitely ugly. But engineeered from the 'ground' up. Considering the vast number of house boating being built there has to be a market. Maybe they could give it a prettier profile and less windage to help it go upwind better and reduce fuel consumption. They're right about the holding tank vent being designed to avoid collasping the tank. There is a good thread on SN about holding tank odor. Maybe 1-1/2" vent is the simple solution.

Yeah, I find the houseboat to be fairly ugly, but the website gives me some interesting ideas for towing a dinghy. A rigid mount like that, up close to the boat, might work quite well.
