3 Mile Harbor / East Hampton LI

2 things: I am getting a mooring in 3 Mile Harbor for the 2004 season. Does anyone know the depth of the channel leading into 3 Mile Harbor? Also, where is the mooring field located and where do people keep their dingys? Any shore facilities available? Thannks

I have been in there a few times. I draw 6.5 feet but always tried to go in at half tide or more. The mooring field is quite large and is on your right as you enter. Make sure you are well in before you turn right as there is a shoal area between the channel and the mooring field. There are a couple of restaurants and a marina. I didn''t stay so can''t advise on long term dingy storage.
