Shilshole Marina

Anyone on the forum living at Shilshole? Am moving up that way and hope to get back on the water. Sold my C-36 several years ago in Marina Bay, Richmond CA and moved ashore but am looking forward to the marina life again up your way.

I keep my boat there and know several liveaboards. It's a great marina, a sailor's marina. Not a lot of amenities on premises, but a ton within a mile (in nearby Ballard).

Isn't there a waiting list or some kind of limits on liveaboards there? Seems like I remember reading something about it.

Thanks for that. Any idea of the WiFi availability and how are the showers & laundry? Easy to get in and out to good sailing areas?

My sister and her husband have been year-round live-aboards at Shilshole for years. Their boat, a 52-ft ketch, is for sale due to his health; it's a great cruising boat and the perfect live-aboard vessel. Shoot me a note if interested.

Lived aboard in Shilshole for a year and a half. WiFi internet access by BBX, antennas at both ends of the harbor. Great live-aboard community and bicycle convenient to just about everything. Check out the Sunday Farmer's Market in Ballard.
