Question 35' COBRA in need of some serious TLC ~ Thoughts???

Hello peeps,

I have just had a wander down to my local marina to enquire about a Moody (ask if it might be for sale), whilst there I found a 35ft Cobra that is sat under cover.

Are they a good boats?

I was not able to check over the boat throughly as the yard owner was not there. and whilst she does look tatty on the outside the hull itself looks in good order and apparently the interior woodwork is of a very high standard.

The boat in question is a beamy twin keeler, there is no mast, standing rigging or sails included so some serious money will need to be spent before sailing off into the sunset.

That said however, first and foremost the boat is to be a liveaboard on the river so it 'could' serve that purpose to begin with and worked upon during the summer.

And as the boat is already on the river (in my home town) then I do not need to arrange transport back home.

I'll post some pictures soon.
