Beneteau/Bahamas bound
I currently sail on the coast in the Jacksonville area. Next year I want to partake in a trip to the Bahamas via Ft. Lauderdale(10-12hr. crossing). I have a 36'' Beneteau with a shoal keel, formaly a Moorings boat, which displaces about 15,000#, as it was built in France. I do not really have too much of a concern for the boats'' ability as well as mine, however, I was just curious what some of your thoughts might be since this is considerd a "production" boat. I know that the overall crossing is dependant on weather conditions and the gulfstream, but I was just curious for some opinions.
Thanks,
dch
