Grenada and Carriacou

Hi Folks, a change from cruising the Queensland coast in our own boat - family matters took us to Grenada. Clearly the thing to do is charter and head north to the grenadines......

Nice Vid..

Carriacou is a bit of an 'undiscovered' gem.. very different vibe there perhaps in part because it's not on any cruise lines' itinerary. We've hiked around the top to some stellar, deserted beaches and rode the local bus back to Tyrell Bay.. great fun.

Re: Grenada and Carriacou

thanks Ron.

I agree Carriacou was a real winner. The new customs in/out at Tyrell Bay (beside the shipyard) was great. Lots of nice swimming spots (by sea); e.g. tucked into L'Esterre Bay and Anse La Roche. I'm envious about the hiking - we were a little time poor and didnt get ashore enough Next time!
