Sydney to Bateman's Bay, Australia.

A bit of coastal cruising helping a friend deliver his new yacht. Four easy days sailing downwind and a short, heavy squall with lightning. Was a great trip.

Video could have been half the length but I wanted my friend to have all the memories (because he's going to sit on it for two years and write a PhD before he gets sailing again!).

A few classic tunes to sail by.

Where was the squall ? On our last trip down that way we had utterly benign conditions coming and going but just off Jervis all hell broke loose. Rain so heavy it was a literal whiteout.

I'm told this is not unusual and that Point Perpendicular has one the highest rainfalls in Oz.
