winter sailing in seattle
short video of solo sail to toast the new year in January. One of the cool things about Seattle is being able to sail year around. I am posting this now while it's still warm... a way to ease into fall and winter ;-)

Wow 8.7 knts for a cat 36 thats smoking along. We got our Beneteau 34 up to 7.7knts in 19 to 20 knts of wind this summer coming across from Smugglers cove to Nanaimo. Kids were sick but my wife put them in a graval coma.

I didn't understand a word he said, but that thing was hauling! Cool design. Loks like they keep crew on the outter hulls to adjust the "keels".

Nice video! Looks just like today here in the islands, except it's raining hard too. Ahhh, winter in the PNW.
