A Sneak Peek of our visit to Atlantic City, NJ. We stayed at the Farley State Marina (otherwise known as the Trump Golden Nugget Casino and Marina) and then spent a few days anchored on both sides of the bridge.

Drake and Monique,

Just wanted to repeat the offer for dinner, car for reprovisioning, whatever you may need.

We are on the hard in Port Washington for a few more weeks while I do some maintenance, install more solar panels, and generally fix things. Then it's on to Montauk, Block Island, and Possibly Martha's Vineyard for the Sailnet gathering there in late July.

Hope all is well.

Regards,
Brad

Also, you have a place to stay on land and a loaner car if you dock in Nassau County, NY. We'll get the NY Sailnetters together to buy you dinner too.

The new/repaired bowsprit looks great.

Fair winds.

Regards,
Brad

Okay - I'm a new Brad Sucks fan. Freakin' awesome music! At first I thought it was Beck. How do you find these guys?

Hoping to see Paragon around the New England waters this Spring. What's the current float plan?

Thanks Minnewaska, We've been at anchor in Newport, RI for the past several days and the harbor here has been the greatest place for giving Mo sailing lessons in our 9 foot sailing dinghy.

We've also been sailing the dinghy from Paragon at anchor to and from the dinghy dock far away. With me in the bow filming and Mo at the helm, we've had some of the most beautiful day sails. I can't wait to edit the footage! Mo is becoming a great sailor, and we are both thrilled and eager for our upcoming voyage.

Hi Brad, Thank you so much for offering to film us as we went by. It would have been the most amazing thing to see video of Paragon from the skyscraper! We were just about to contact you when the dockmaster at the West 79th Street Boat Basin marina told us that we would have to raise anchor and leave the area in the morning because they were going to put in the mooring balls. With only 12 hours notice, we had to scramble to get Paragon ready to move. We went up the East River before we could contact you. Since then we've spent a week at anchor in City Island and Manhasset, a week at anchor in Mount Sinai harbor in Long Island, and are now at anchor in Newport, RI. We push off for Boston tomorrow morning. Thank you so much for your kind offer. We hope to be back in NY in a few years and would love to get that footage!

Best regards,

Drake and Mo

Holy smokes, how long do you expect to be around?

Unfortunately, I'm out of town at the moment and, while hoping to be around this weekend, I am probably going to travel for a Mother's Day get together.
