Bad situation/Escape assistance needed

I just got a call from my wife (4:30 a.m.) from an island in the French Riviera, probably near Cannes. She is crewing on a man''s boat with another lady. They both responded to his internet crew wanted ad and flew to France to crew. The situation has turned bad as he is a controlling person with no keen knowledge of sailing. Apparently, they have not raised a sail and he lacks navigation skills.

SHE WANTS TO ESCAPE THE SITUATION!

She is to be there until May 23. She is to be in Cannes on the 17th and wants to fly home early if the situation does not change.

Is there anyone out there who can lead her to an alternative sailing experience? She will be there until the 23rd and will take a pick up from a friendly boater.

Well.....apparently my wife and her co-crew member caught the ferry back to the "mainland"...so, until I hear from her, I suppose she is at least free from the situation.....Thanks for those who responded.

Have her check with crewnetwork.com they have an office in Antibes. and in Ft. Lauderdale The season is starting for yachting in the Med. Perhaps she can find a berth on one of the yachts there. There are other crew agencies in Antibes France that might be able to help as well.
