Sailing (Charter) St. Vincent to Grenda

Am chartering out of St. Vicent in April 02 for two weeks. Our planned trek is to sail from St. Vicent down to Gernada and back to St. Vincent.
Would like to hear from others who have done this sail.
Looking for good & bad.
All info. always helpful.
Would like to converse "E" mail if issues cited are a real concern.

Sailing (Charter) St. Vincent to Grenda

It is a great area and you should have a wonderful time.we were down there in July and loved it. My best advice is to check out Rob''s web site at http://www.usual-suspects-sailing.com/. You will get all the info you need and get a few good laughs.
Let me know if you have specific questions.

Herve

Sailing (Charter) St. Vincent to Grenda

We have make that trip 3-4 times over the last 15 yrs.. Our first back in 81 when Grenada was still commie , we didn''t go below Union. The next time down was after the invasion, grenada people were really great. loved St Georges. At the south end or Caricou(sp) in tryells bay , you might run into this old guy who used to be the keeper of the mangroves. He will get fresh mangrove oysters for you... colorful guy. Union, the tobago cays, sailine bay, all are wonderful places... 2 weeks is not really long enough... that''s why we have done that trip so many times...The last was a 1 way from St Lucia to grenada, we got so pissed off with the boat boys we sailed all the way down to the south end of Grenada to a cove down a bit from where Morrings has their base. Great spot...only 3 boats. we spent 4 days there and daysailed each day. Have fun.. Paul Camp
