Bahama Charter

Three friends and I are renting a 35'' sloop out of Miami at the end of March for 8 days. We are looking at sailing across the Gulf Stream to the Bahamas (weather depending of course). We were considering sailing to West End or Freeport, spending a couple of days, sailing to Bimini and then returning to Miami. Is this too aggresive of a schedule? How is the sail from West End to Bimini? If we had to choose just one location would you choose Freeport, West End, or Bimini?
