Local Knowledge Beach Haven NJ

Looking to stop by Beach Haven NJ on my way to Maryland. My ICW guide shows an anchorage with enough water, 5-6 ft north of Mordecai Island. Does anyone know if this is still true or if there is anywhere else to anchor? Also the charts say Beach Haven Inlet is marked but the charts are not updated since the shoals shift. Can anyone confirm that the inlet is marking or should I plan on heading down to Little Egg Inlet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Conrad
