bowfishing

I really enjoy archery. I have watched bow fishing on TV and think it not only good sport but a good way to get an easy meal as long as it be from clean waters. Does anyone bow fish? What are the opportunities for bow fishing? Thanks again to all.

hillbillybear...

You might be a redneck if your screen name is hillbillybear and you're talking about bow fishing...

I used to...but be aware that there are usually some strict limitations on what you can bow fish for in most states. In many states it is only legal to bow fish for certain species... YMMV.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Nah, he's not a real redneck. I usually fish off the stern so I am less likely to accidentally run over the dynamite.

Andy-

How big are you fishing... half stick or whole??? I find it depends on the depth of the lake and how near the neighbors are to it... if the lake is a bit more remote, I'll go up to a whole stick at a time.

Thats where grown men fish naked in the water. Sort of a bonding thing....If you get divorced is she still your sister?

Just kidding

I bow hunt, aim a little below where the fish appears to be. Be sure to tie your line off. Have fun. By the way, speaking of "West by God Virgina", I spent 2 weeks in Clarksburge. Lovely place with good people.
