Inoculations?
You definately need to consult your family doctor or go to a "travel medicine" medical practice. There are numerous vaccinations that are advised. Sources of information that are country specific are the CDC, WHO and perhaps even the State dept web sites.
By and large, you might be advised to get shots for: yellow fever, hepatitis A and B, salmonella typhi (typhoid fever...take the pills...not a fun shot). You might also be advised to take along pills for the chemical prophylaxis of malaria. None of these are a big deal. There may be others, depending on where you plan to sail.
But consult your personal physician in order to see which if any of these shots are advisable for YOU to take. This is very important.
