Greetings- Does anyone know if a USCG security zone permit is needed for a trip from FL to Mexico via the NW coast of Cuba? I will not be stopping in Cuba(I would love to!), but will be near the NW coast enroute to Mexico. Of course I have my Customs sticker already.

Your best bet, rather than relying on hearsay here, is to check with the USCG website:
uscg.mil It may take some searching to find the info you want, but it will be the current, correct info.
