New CS30

I am currently getting to know my new CS30 1987 Model. Cleaning and repairing what is needed. I would like any info on how the vented loops are (properly) installed on the head and the Motor. I'm sure my Boat is not proper now. Also before I start looking are there typical leak points on the deck. I get fresh water during a rain, working into the cavity behind the switch panel. Then on top of the steering cover panel which has been wet for some time now judging from the delamination of the panel. Also while under way sailing in a breeze with water splashing on deck, in the compartments under the seats. Aside from these things she is in pretty good shape.

So far I like the boat and would appreciate any help.
