Repower with a Westerbeke w-46?

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a 1979 CS36, and was thinking of repowering. I've found a westerbeke w-46 in good shape, and was wondering if anyone knows if this engine would fit for the CS 36, or if anyone's used this for a repower? I've seen one or two boats out there that have used a westerbeke 44, which seemed to work. Looks like the overall length of the 44 is 34.9 inches, and the 46 is 36.72. I'm wondering if that extra ~1.5 inches would be a deal-breaker...
