Re: CS 40 Side window

The only way you will get them to seal will be to remove them and rebed them. I removed mine and had new ones made. They were bedded in resin. Bonded the new ones back in w/ a 3m product recommended by the co that made the new windows for me. It took 3 weeks for the caulk to set.

Re: CS 40 Side window

Why could you not use old windows ? Who made your new windows for you and how much did they cost?

Re: CS 40 Side window

The polycarbonate was crazed and scratched. They cracked on removal. Select plastics in Norwalk, Ct. made new ones for me. IIRC they were about $150 each.

Re: CS 40 Side window

Not sure if they save the patterns. If they do your all set. All they do is hatches and ports. They know what they're doing. If you need me to contact them let me know. I would think any glass shop could get you polycarbonate and cut it.

Re: CS 40 Side window

I did bring them the old windows to use as a pattern. They are mirror images. Not sure on material. They are a lewmar service center and were doing all my hatches and ports.
