4236 perkins marine

I notice some white smoke and a light film of oil on the water discharge ,what could be the problem ? any experts in diesel engine out there ? tks.

Go back and check your fluid levels.

engine oil level is over a bit the second mark on the dipstick. I used oil Rotella T (W 30 ) and transmission fluid (red) recommended replacement for type A
