Do any of you have a tip on how to check the timing on my engine? It has recently gone through an overhaul, but I would like to make sure that it is in correct time. The shop manual states that it is time when fuel starts to spill out of the injection pump fitting, if not shim the plate up. But how do you know for sure? Any insight would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
