if you are upsizing the engine be sure to check what prop size and prop shaft diameter are required for a new engine. there has to be sufficient room under your hull to allow proper tip clearance for the new bigger prop blade, or your prop wont operate efficiently. and upsizing the p shaft and prop add on $$$$ to the cost of this high boat-unit job.
best to do the clearance measurements on the hard.
if you buy a new engine , replace your cutless bearing while the p shaft is out...
