The filter is designed to remove water at a 99% efficiency rate. What the saturation point or maximum amount of water it can handle before it needs to be replaced, I do not know. Therefore, per the OP's query, his R11T will separate out the water from his fuel. I don't understand what you mean above re: not specifically a water separator. What is the difference between a water "separator" and a an element that filters/separates out water from fuel?
