Universal M3-20B Novice needs help

Hi,
I have an 81 Catalina 30 that was refitted with an M3-20B. Now for the embarrassing part.
I CAN"T FIND THE OIL FILTER!
While I am not a mechanic, I never thought I would be stumped by trying to find an oil filter.
Also, can anyone tell me a good place to buy 7/16 Pencil Zincs?

Any help on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Loaf

Here's a good online source of parts for your engine.

Sailboat Supplies, Engine Parts and Boat Parts

Can't help you with locating the oil filter. Got to be there, just probably hidden. Sounds like its going to be fun to change.

Looks like it's mounted sideways just under the alternator.... probably a tough reach on the C30

Here's a link to the manual in PDF form.. some good pictures including the availability of a kit to relocate the filter off the engine to a more convenient location (page 18)
