what's in a name?
I am new to the forum. I sail a Legend 27 with Yanmar 2YM15 / SD20 saildrive. What is the equivalent engine in U.S.A ? I have noticed many references to Yanmar engines but no one from the U.S. has mentioned the 2YM. Does it have a different type number in the U.S ?
I am also trying to find a parts manual, but I can't find anything online for the 2YM. If it has a different code in rest of the world this would explain - we never do things the easy way over here !!
