Yanmar stalls at low rpm

I have a 2gm20f I have flushed the tank, installed fuel polishing system (algae x) and just installed new injectors and still after running for 1/2 hour or so when I back off the throttle to just before idle (in gear) she stalls out. Has anyone had this problem and of so how did you fix it?

On the throttle cable on most Yanmars there is an idle adjustment and typically on most Yanmars the 'stop' control is a mechanical lever on the throttle cable that 'depresses' the idle setting below that which the engine idles thus stopping it .... this idle adjustment is usually on the starboard side of the engine between the trans and the engine block.

This makes sense. I will look for this and try to see if I can make an adjustment. I have felt that is might be a cable issue, as it will not stall in neutral but will if the prop is engaged and with just a slight amount of throttle.
