Just got back from a trip to Petosky from Toledo on my Oday 30 with a M-18, I could run 16 hours @ 2800rpm on 6 gal of fuel. Did it twice and filled with 6 gals both times. Being conservative 1/2 gal an hour should give 30 hours. I don't have an operating fuel gauge, and carry an emergance 4 gallon can when cruising, figuring I can get to just about any harbor within reason on that amount. But methinks I do need to fix my fuel gauge.
