What are all the hoses on my fuel filter?

We have a Westerbeke W30. My current on-engine diesel filter setup (a CAV filter # 5836B020 at FDE-5836B020 FILTER HOUSING-Fuel(Complete) - £*92.33 : In-Line Filters, The Filter Specialists) has the hose coming from the primary Racor on the left
side of the filter. On the right side of the filter are 2 hoses/pipes: 1 with
the checkvalve, and the other the injector pipe (I think). On the top of the
filter in the middle there are 2 hoses connected by banjo. One (I'm assuming) is
the return from the injectors, and the other is the return to the fuel tank. How
would I hook up all these hoses to a Racor 110a or similar filter where there isn't a connection on the top for the banjo? Where would the two on the top
go? If anyone has a good article/link/schematic/etc. I would great appreciate
it...I'm a bit lost as to all of this. I've searched and haven't found any good explanations/diagrams of the fuel system at a filter, and my manual sucks. Thank you very much!

Looks like the housing has an inlet and outlet on each side, perhaps for flexibility of installation. You will need to trace the lines you have to see where they go. If you do indeed need 2 lines at the outlet of a new filter, you can just put a tee in the line.

I had a w30 on our previous 1979 cs36. The two lines on the top of the filter are the injector return and tank return. the line on the rt. side goes to the high pressure fuel pump. Not sure what the second line w/ the check valve is. Can you tell what it connects to.
