I tired to take a photo too, but the output of hose for the raw water pump was in the way. The Vetus M3.09 is the same block too. While I havent found any online parts options, I'm sure there has to be something out there.

By the way, the operation manual for the Vetus is much better than the Westerbeke... it has pictures!

Westerbelke Parts

Fianally had a chance to go to the boat and check the engine numbers.
I was able to find them and take pictures and now I validated Funjohnsos's find (model L3E) and got my serial number. The serial number is a must to obtain the parts manual - that is my next step.

I'll keep you posted.

Maine Sail

How did you get the Mistu parts book? I am having a hard time obtaining one. I have the engine model Number L3E 0.952l displacement, and a six digit serial number followed by 4 digits and the "8K", but I have tried several distributors and they claim that the serial number is not corect - a no go as I have to refraim from providing "other information". Did you contact Mistsubishi directly?

Thanks!
