I hope someone who knows what they are talking about will answer. I would not worry about it, but I'm just guessing. I have no scientific knowledge of what is in star-tron. They do make a diesel additive.

I have found the product to be amazingly effective in gasoline engines, I keep 3 or 4 bottles on the shelf.

Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment - Star Tron Diesel Additive

The MSDS sheets look the same for either gas or diesel version (approximately the same ingredients), so I think you are ok, but suggest contacting the company.
Good luck

I would not worry about it.
Hopefully you at least read the instructions and put in the recommended amount for your tank which would be a very tiny % per gallon.
Given Casey1999's input that the gas vs. diesel versions are similar in composition I'd forget about it and concentrate on more pressing problems.

The website also states you cannot overdose, so I think he is ok, just let 'er run.

Can I add too much Star tron?
Q. Can I add too much Star tron to my gasoline or diesel fuel?

A. No, you can not overdose your fuel with Star tron. If you add too much of the Star tron product to gasoline or diesel, no problems will be encountered.

I'd also suggest contacting StarTron directly. How much fuel was in your tank, and how much additive did you add to it? They'll probably need to know that to give you a good answer.

Wouldn't worry. Snake oil or placebo is harmless if it's designed for gas or diesel ;-)
