Hello Everyone
I am planning on doing some work on my diesel engine this winter.
I was initially planning to put the boat in dry dock and then work on it.
It has since occured to me that it would be trickier to test run the engine when there is no water supply to cool it.
how is this issue usually handled?
Do you just attach a bucket to the intake and outlet and let it circulate?
It seems that water would get hot pretty fast.
Also I am not sure the water
pump can actually suck on the intake side so the bucket would have to be on the outside of the boat right by the intake?
any suggestions are welcome.
Andreas
