Soo.. which engine is there now?
Anyhow overheating issues are not usually 'engine specific' in the regard that most problems will lie with the RW pump, intake strainer, low FW reservoir levels, FWC pump, and often a clogged mixing elbow that restricts cooling water flow.
If mechanics have investigated and not been able to find the problem, either they're not very good mechanics or it's an oddball issue and/or and oddball engine.
So we need more details and information on what's been checked and confirmed to be OK.
