Mail Order Yanmar Parts in Puget Sound?

Getting ready for my first maintenance cycle, and I need to order some Yanmar parts (impeller, thermostat, filters, maybe belts). I understand that Yanmar's dealer network is very territorial (Torreson won't ship outside their region, for example).

Any recommendations re: Yanmar dealers who can ship to the Puget Sound area? I'd prefer to mail order the parts, partly to get a better price (hopefully), and partly because I'm in Kitsap County (long ferry/drive to Seattle).

Re: Mail Order Yanmar Parts in Puget Sound?

I know exactly what you are going through. Not a good situation. There are essentially three Yanmar dealers in the Puget Sound and Yanmar locks you into those. I would bet Gallery would ship to you. You won't find Torreson pricing there though. Many parts they will need to order in first, low stocking level. Such is life. I threatened the Yanmar distributor by saying I was going to start a co-op with buying parts directly from China. Not worth the effort and they didn't seem to care.

Here are the three dealers in the PS area. Gallery does have nice folks and I am sure they will mail you parts.
