Coolant level

I'm getting familiar with my Yanmar 2GMF. How do I measure the coolant level? Is it just by sight or is there some sort of dipstick?
Thanks

Re: Coolant level

there should be a coolant overflow tank (this is not a raw water cooling system, is it?) you should be able to see the level in the overflow tank. no dipstick...

Re: Coolant level

Thanks. The boat is on the hard and covered so I'll have to look at it in the spring. I don't recall seeing one but in looking at the diagrams in the manual there appears to be a "remote tank" that may be located toward the stern.
