Since buying nothing but Hondas since 1982, I have never had ANY cooling or leakage problems. When I drove Detroit Iron, starting in 1951, I had many cases of the top tank having to be re-soldered and the cores "rodded out".

Hondas cost more than Detroit Iron. You get what you pay for. I can remember the American made car dealers calling them "rice burners" in the sixties, don't think they are laughing anymore?:

Re: oh oh water pump

one is on it's way to me! seems to me the pump fits many kubota engines. which would make sense from a mfg's point of view.

Re: oh oh water pump

This is the pump that is coming up as the one used.

This is the one on my engine.

Which is on it's way. Pray for me I'm finally missing not using my boat!

Re: oh oh water pump

Finally done!

It's amazing how quiet the new pump is! It's like a new engine running in the boat! Putting this to rest. It's been a very time consuming project!
