How do I disconnect a hydraulic shaft brake?

Hi there,
I've got to raise my engine to replace a leaky oil pan gasket. I've get a hydraulic shaft brake, coming off a Warner Borg Velvet Drive transmission. It works great, but I've never had it off....
Anyone know the trick to unlocking it?
Much appreciated...
Mark
