Yanmar oil fill question

I can't believe I need to ask this question. My new to me boat has a Yanmar 4JH3E 56 hp engine. I am about to do the first oil change and I am puzzled.

It has the standard cap on the valve cover that I have used on every engine I have ever serviced to put oil in. However it also has an orange cap on the oil pump that shows to fill there. It also shows this in the manual but not clearly nor does not specify it must be filled here and not the other.

Anyone out there have the real scoop on this issue? Is some oil needed there just to prime the pump? Any other possible reason?

Thanks
Gene

There are two since Yanmar knows some boat mfgs like to make access difficult. Either will work just fine and considfer yourself lucky if you have free access to both.
