Wink PERKINS/WESTERBEKE Paragon to ZF Hurth gear change?

The engine is an old Perkins/Westerbeke 4.107 (4.108) Can anybody out there share some experience with changing from a Paragon to a ZF/HURTH gearbox? Want to get rid of the old Paragon 2:1 SA 102 beast and it's monster mechanical shifter, and install a slick new ZF10M/HURTH HBW 100. I know that I will need an adapter for the bell housing and a new torque plate (and possibly replace the engine mounts to allow for the 62mm vertical drop of the ZF. I also know that I will need to go from a LH prop to a RH prop (easy to do with my feathering VariProp).

Has anybody done this? Any advice / warnings?
Thanks very much for your help!

I have not. But a fellow ( who does all his own work) sailor told me that my Paragon could be replaced simply with a velvetdrive (?). Do let us know how it works out. I'm keeping my Paragon as long as it works, but may need to change it someday.
