Volvo parts source in Annapolis/Deale?

Sorry for what is surely a redundant question, but my search efforts failed to find an answer. I'm just looking for a recommendation for a source for Volvo MD7a parts anywhere between Annapolis and Deale, or surrounding area (boat is in Deale). I'm looking for parts like thermostat, gaskets, etc.

I'm replacing the exhaust manifold with a refurb, and the old gasket seemed to come off OK. Is this worth reusing or just go ahead and replace? (I'm inclined to the latter if available.)

Also, when I did a temporary "put together" last fall to move the boat, I used gasket goop to seal pump and thermostat housings because I didn't have the real thing. It didn't matter because there was no water flowing through the engine, but is this stuff a viable alternative?

Thanks!

Alex

I've always used Marine Parts Express to get my parts, even though they are located in Maine. Even in California, I find that most parts on the Volvo Penta engine I have end up needing to be ordered. Since I have to order them anyway, I might as well save myself the trouble, order the parts I need and have them delivered straight to me. Saves a trip to the store. Plus, Marine Parts express has a breakdown on line of most engines and great customer service.

Absolutely great folks, willing to talk on the phone, sell and ship parts, or make repairs. A family business and truly professional in the best meaning of the term. We found their prices to be competitive, even including shipping.

They're on my very short list of folks to recommend with absolutely no reservations.
