Volvo Penta 2 cylinder

We have a slow leak at the fuel feed. Took hours to figure out where the leak was. Has anyone replaced the gasket or o-ring? Is this a difficult job or fairly easy to get the fuel leak stopped?

Yes, I have replaced the gasket at the fuel feed on the engine...I have a Newport 30, and getting to it was a fun task as I had to work upside down through the access hatch...sort of standing on my head...once you locate it, and get the housings clear, it is not bad...be sure to THOROUGHLY clean off both sides of the housing when you reinstall, and make sure you don't have any rough surfaces....Mine is an MD-7A...old, loud, but dependable.
A word of caution...make sure you use OEM parts from a dealer that specifically has the Penta parts...not only are they a good resource for parts, but a great resource for advice...
