Albin ad-21 tranmission

Hello,

I have an Albin ad-21 in my Coronado 35. The reverse spring has gone twice now. engine I was wondering if anyone knew of another transmission that would work.

I always found the AD 21 to be a dependable engine, It just weighed 670 pound if I remember correctly.
That should be a crash box. I don't know what spring is being broken, I can't at this moment picture a spring in the planitary gears. If you know how inspect it for cracked or bent components.
My memery is that the trans & block are one peice, in that case the trans is not changeable.
I don't if I even have a copy of the manual. I would have to think so. It's not in my nature to get rid of a manual without coping the data.
