Sender units for Farymann

Hi. We purchased a boat with a Farymann A30 engine. The engine itself works fine but the engine instruments do not work. We knew this before buying. I want to update the instrument panel and would like to know if anyone has changed the oil pressure and water temp sensor. The reason I'm asking is because the boat is not been shipped to us yet. I did get a manual for the engine but its in German and does not really give thread sizes. Trying to get things ready for when she does arrive. Any help would be appreciated.

This engine only has a temp switch for a temperature alarm. Farymann never supplied a gauge.

There is no provision for an oil gauge as this engine is splash lubricated.

Thanks. I really need to learn to read German. That makes life easier. This engine was put in a C&C 29 to replace the Atomic 4. I guess that's why the only gauge that works is the fuel gauge. A water temp switch and light it is. Thanks again for for your help.

Re: Sender units for Farymann

I am in the process of purchasing a Cascade 29 with a Farymann A30 engine, with low hours, and owned by a diesel mechanic, so it is in great shape for it's age. In the process I found both the owner's instruction manual and repair manual in english. I can either email you the PDF's or links if need be.

My tachometer doesn't work and will need to replace that ASAP, the previous owner kept a log of the engine hours after the tach stopped working.

Thanks. I have an owner manual but a repair manual would be great. Either a PDF or link works for me. Whatever is easier for you. Thanks again Rod.
