Amp meter?

Does having an amp meter in the charging system increase voltage drop, In other words will an amp meter increase resistance in a charginf swstem?

The amount of resistance would be unnoticeable and the voltage drop will be less than 100 millivolts.

If you are looking for an in depth explanation go to Wikipedia look up ammeter then look up shunt.
