My personnal advises:
No need for an arch if you have 2 x 135 or 2 x 85 Watts and you like to keep the bimini all the time. I installed my 2 Shell solar 85 Watts on the bimini and get 10 Amps for many hours. In some occasions on a tack, they are covered by the main. I installed Sealed plug connectors to the junction box. Use a PWM instead of MPPT, if on budget, as you do not get much boost for the price overall. Look for quality frame, SS hardware and seal of the cells under the glass.

mitiempo will become famous soon enough
You should get about a 30% improvement with a MPPT controller.

Well it seem they are not all as good as an Outback($600-700).
I tested a Blue Sky 2512. My panels are 17.4 volts, Peak power voltage. Under full sun, a cheap Morningstar gave 10 Amp on my relatively discharged bank. I then connected the Blue Sky, 10 Amps also. I got a lot of noise also.
Hum, that is not what the marketting department said.
I then installed the Blue Sky on my bench with a variable power supply to a discharge battery with 2 Ampmeters, one in and one out of the MPPT. The gain start apearing over 17 Volts.
I draw my own conclusions.
